From Callejón de la Condesa, the historic center is best explored on foot.
Go for a walk
Guanajuato is a city of alleys, stairways and plazas. From the hotel door you are next to Plaza de la Paz and a few minutes from the Basílica, the Museo del Pueblo and the Casa Diego Rivera Museum, per Google. The callejoneadas, musical walks through the alleys, start about 4 minutes away.
Come back to the terrace
After your walk, head up to the second-floor terrace: sun, stone and the view of the colorful hills.
